On Friday 9 October, more than 90 people joined us in Mount Waverley for the Joshi for Ashwood Bollywood Night. There was a local DJ, a lively dance floor and a three-course Indian feast, and the night started with dancing to our campaign song, “I Am Joshi”.
Thank you to everyone who came, danced and gave so generously. The funds raised are going straight into flyers, corflutes and volunteer t-shirts. A big thanks to our hard-working volunteer organisers.
Take a look at the highlights video and photos below. Maybe you’ll spot yourself on the dance floor!
